Job Summary

Midwest Pediatric Therapy is a therapist-owned private practice that provides speech, language, feeding & occupational therapy to children of all ages. We serve families in Chicago's West and Northwest suburbs in our facility in Bloomingdale, IL. To fully satisfy the needs of our clients & family, Midwest Pediatric Therapy has expanded and recently added Individual and Family Counseling to our services. We are actively seeking a full-time Social Worker who is self-motivated, creative and outgoing.

At MWPT:

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Midwest Pediatric Therapy, you will:

  • Provide direct psycho-social services through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing treatment.
  • Conduct individual and family therapies.
  • Have the ability to flex your schedule to accomdate personal commitments and maintain work-life balance.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure best practice and quality outcomes as well as ensure continuity of care.

What you bring:

  • A desire and willingness to make an impact in the communication, confidence, self-advocacy and functional life skills of individuals with developmental delays and disorders.
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
  • Illinois License in Clinical Social Work.
  • Credentialed in Early Intervention (or willingness to obtain).
  • Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and medically necessary documentation of clinical contacts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as active listening.
  • Be service oriented.
  • Experience in instructing, monitoring and critical thinking.
  • A valid driver’s license.
