Jody earned her occupational therapy degree from Western Michigan University and has been working as a school-based occupational therapist for over 15 years. She is currently in the process of completing her certification in Ayers Sensory Integration, further enhancing her ability to support children with sensory processing needs.

As a neurodiverse-affirming therapist, Jody believes in honoring each child's unique way of experiencing the world. She partners closely with families, educators, and support teams to identify and nurture each child's strengths, using those strengths as a foundation to build skills across a wide range of developmental areas. Jody is especially passionate about helping children learn self-regulation strategies, improve fine motor coordination, and gain confidence in their daily routines and activities.

Her approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and a deep respect for the individuality of every child. Jody finds great joy in celebrating small victories and empowering children to reach their fullest potential in both school and everyday life.

In her spare time, Jody enjoys spending time with her two children, reading, gardening, hiking and biking.
