Kim is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist who earned her Master's degree from New Mexico State University and her educational Doctorate from Concordia University Chicago. She has always worked with the pediatric population, ranging from early childhood through high school transition. Kim has a special interest in social language and augmentative alternative communication (AAC). She is fully trained in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS).
Kim’s favorite part about being a therapist is when her client realizes their power in being able to communicate with family and friends. Kim works collaboratively with families and and providers to create comprehensive support systems that drive client success.
In her free time, Kim enjoys cooking for her family, camping, skiing, and traveling.
